GAME RELIAQUEST BOWL: #11 Bama vs Michigan • 11c • ESPN

I can talk all the smack I want ... we are the SEC champs in the CFP while they went 9-4. Sure they beat us, but they lost to a lot of 6-6 teams, something we didn't do. There are a lot of embarrassed talking heads today.

FWIW, I thought they were better than Indiana and SMU, and probably Clemson. And would have played better in the CFP. But they sure didn't show it today.

Bruh

They faced a watered down Michigan team

Yes Michigan beat OSU, but they legit just ran up the middle for an entire half on Bama and won. There should be no "what ifs" after this performance. Let it die and be buried.

Weird since everyone has been able to pay players Alabama hasn’t been as good?

Oh, its not a coincidence that now its all in the open the midwest is competing at the same level.

lol the talking heads will just bring out the "cant judge the team based off a meaningless bowl game" card.

There's gotta be some kind of "Despite loss to Michigan the committee still made a mistake leaving Bama out" piece in the works from someone at ESPN

Have they fired DeBoer yet? I’m positive death threats for his family have already been issued and the fan base is trying to figure out if Michigan has any sacred trees to kill.

I was about to lol at Alabama for losing to Michigan, but then I saw my avi and remembered. Now I’m crying.
Wink decided the last two games was the best time to be competent

Michigan was without every valuable starter. And won. I still am shocked by this. Credit to Sherrone, that was amazing. Excited to see what he does with actual talent at QB.

Michigan typically doesn't win bowl games. This is a bit of a shock to the system.

What a way to end the season ... Victories over ohio state and Alabama. I wonder who will be our quarterback next year ... Dillon Gabriel?

We were sitting at 5-5 hoping to make a bowl game lol. then ended the season with wins over Northwestern, #2 Ohio State and #11 Alabama to finish 8-6. That's a win in my book. Amazing finish to a garbage year with a walk on QB.

Since I became a fan, Michigan has only won 6 bowl games and TWO came last year. So this is increible. Especially because Milroe played and still sucked lol
