That thing where two people are fighting for a gun, the gun in both their hands goes below camera shot as they stand close face to face, the gun goes off, and for a few seconds you don’t know which person gets shot in the gut.

Those long helicopter/drone tracking shots of some car going through some lonely road through the forest with ominous music in the background in some mystery/thriller movie.

smoking hot chick walking around and no background dudes looking at her

That thing where two people are fighting for a gun, the gun in both their hands goes below camera shot as they stand close face to face, the gun goes off, and for a few seconds you don’t know which person gets shot in the gut.
Or the person holding the gun cocking it 18 times during the menacing discussion he has with whomever he is intending to shoot or intimidate or whatever.

Or whenever the bad guy busts out this line during the tense standoff with the hero:

"You just dont get it, do ya?!"

The character walking into the room knowing exactly what everyone has been talking about and joins the discussion at the perfect time.

This one is big in NCIS, and I understand why they do it, but it still makes me roll my eyes…

they are pow-wowing around the computer trying to figure out whodunit.

“Johnny Suspect probably went to train station”

”We reviewed the cams at the station and found this”

“Who could that person he is with be?”

”His wife has a alibi, but maybe it could be his sister?”

”His sister signed in at her work 30 mins before this was filmed. But when we zoom in, it is clearly her.”

”I put out a Bola for her and she is currently in our interrogation room”

“Go talk to her, McGee.”
