RIP Gaylord Perry

RIP. I have a signed picture of him and a signed baseball in my game room.

Gaylord was always even better at getting you to think that he was loading it up than he was at actually loading it up  Gotta love that.

On some summer's evenings in the 60's when the weather was just right I was able to pick up SF area radio stations on my little transistor radio.

I'd lie on the lawn and listen to the Giants games.

Gaylord and Juan Marichal.

McCovey, Mays and Cepeda.

Good times.
