Hall of Famer Perry, spitball master, dies at 84
Baseball Hall of Famer and two-time Cy Young winner Gaylord Perry, a master of the spitball, died Thursday. He was 84.

Gaylord was always even better at getting you to think that he was loading it up than he was at actually loading it up

On some summer's evenings in the 60's when the weather was just right I was able to pick up SF area radio stations on my little transistor radio.
