I met this guy on CBS over 14 years ago and within a couple weeks of talking Illinos/Indiana sports came to find out he lived about 15 miles from me. Over the years, we became friends and mushroom hunting partners. He and I discussed music, philosophy and politics. A few of you may remember his short period of time on AFR. He was the guy who committed e-suicide arguing with @dbldwn711 . He honored his bets. He was a man. Bricktop was his screen name.

He died this afternoon of COVID.
 
Did his house burn down at any time?

trust me... that guy was tough as nails. He took a bet with me where loser left forever but he knew he was going to lose it. He was just done with that site. He would check in via @Kburjr from time to time over the years and even though I told him I’d never hold him to our bet, as @Kburjr said, he was a man who honored his bets
