Mrs Chicken spent time volunteering at a farm yesterday about a mile from Gaza. Sent me a picture of the farmer. He was carrying an assault rifle. Also sent me pics of the hostage memorials. That was pretty sobering

I’ve been lucky so far. She really doesn’t cry much, and I don’t really sleep anyways, so the night stuff doesn’t bother me

I’m leaving Thursday for the SD trip I booked and paid for before I knew I was gonna be a dad. That’s gonna be a little different

I’m looking forward to it in a way because I haven’t really been anywhere other than work and my house since she was born, so I am ready to get out and do something , but I know I’m gonna miss her when I get there
