Well silver lining she is somewhat protected so there is that but wow sobering indeed!

She said she felt pretty safe there, however there were parts Bethlehem where she didn't

Yeah I don't know how safe I'd feel anywhere over there but I am very glad to hear that she is feeling safe...

There is a lot of police presence, and the closer they got to the Gaza more military of course. She said their guide was not allowed to go to Bethlehem because its under Palestinian control but another guide picked them up at the border.

Why is it a weird question? I have heard they suck and some people say they are ok. Just wanted to hear thoughts about them

I had to go to China for a month when my son was 1yo. Very difficult to go, and true to Harry Chapin's words, he learned to walk while I was away. That sucked. We've had hundreds of wonderful times together since, which absolutely does not suck.
