I don’t have one, but the ones I’ve been around are annoying. Also I’ve heard horror stories about Roombas and people with sick indoor dogs. Like it’s time to burn the house down and start over horror stories

we have one, but I'd never run it without checking the floor for soft debris first.

I have 4 now. Pretty much why we got the Robot vacuum. LOTS of popcorn.
My kids earn games for their xbox or tablet or what have ya and other crap by cleaning up after themselves. I dont think a robot would do well here maybe if it was only ever dry crap but sometimes it is a ravioli sometimes a splurge of jam. If i thought a robot could 100% it without fail i would totally get one and figure out other ways for the kiddos to earn stuff but it would have to be a vacuum that could determine the type of mess and properly clean it, i dont need the whole floor "swiffered" because that wont do squat and so far thats all ive seen from the "mop" robots is just a pad and spray, that is just going to make a jam mess into a sticky bigger mess (like someone said with the dog crap)

daily.

I have sent a couple back to take advantage of the guarantee and get a newer model when available

So far it has been a great investment.

That’s pretty good info. Thanks.

I would get an issue where it wouldn't dock properly and charge, so I thought there was an issue with the vacuum or the dock, but it turns out the sensors just need to be wiped with some rubbing alcohol. I sent a couple back before figuring that out.

also measure any coffee tables, endtables, couches, chairs, bookshelves, etc to make sure the fucker doesn't constantly get stuck under it when it runs. Mine constantly gets stuck under the coffee table.

Mine is too old and was too cheap to be one of the smart ones that maps out the room and makes sure it hits every spot. Mine just bumps into shit and turns randomly... but I could have 3 of them for the price of a smart one.

mine bumps the recliner enough to move it and get stuck. EVERY. FUCKING. TIME.

I don't think those towers they give you would help with my issue...I just use those to keep the fucker away from my Christmas tree

I think we got one that maps out the house. We had to put down strips so it knew where to go and not to go.

yeah, if I setup the virtual wall near the recliner then it has to circle the living room to get in. If it takes a wrong random turn it'll vacuum behind the couch 4 times then shut off.

ahh so you got one that can be hacked so people can see the layout of your house.

Probably. Between all the iPads and iPhones and smart TV’s and Alexa’s in my house I’m probably under surveillance 24/7. I think last time I checked we had 19 things hooked up to our internet. Prob made the right choice quitting MAGA being under the scope like this.

I'm a fan.

It's also good for a drive-by "knock the shit out of the dog."

Avoided a tragedy last night when I forgot to shut the basement door and RV took a tumble. But he’s okay. I think.
