The Stones on their worst day were infinitely better than the Beatles on their best day
I’m just over them personally. I don’t think they were overrated, I get the historical significance, get the influence, have had my share of caring phases and deep dives. Just at this point I don’t care if I never hear another Beatles song again. Unless it’s Norwegian Wood. That song rules.Paint it Black.
But people that whine about the Beatles are hipster tards.
They were a great band. Whether they were overrated or not, they had no control over that.
Most rail against their early stuff, citing things like "bubblegum" and/or "pop". As I age, I'm starting to think that shit was better than their "drug years".
They wrote some hits in that time frame.
I struggle to understand folks that can't grasp historical significance, and historical influence.
The Beatles are as legend as legend gets. Deal with it.
Historical significance and influence is one thing. Elvis had that in spades too.Paint it Black.
