Rodgers wants GM fired

I’m with Rodgers and I’m not.

I agree with him that this FO doesn’t get him a lot of help at RB, TE, and WR, whether through the draft or FA. And now to top it all off, he’s grossly underpaid (he was reportedly wanting a new deal back in January).

He’s right about the Packers’ 1st rd drafting habits, so he should be pissed about it:
--From 2006 through 2021, the Pack have had 16 first rd picks
--3 offensive players taken, OT B.Bulaga (2010), OT D.Sherrod (2011), QB J.Love (2020)
--zero offensive skill players (WOW)
--5 DBs, 3 LBs, 3 DTs, and 2 DEs

However, I disagree with how he’s gone about complaining. He was happy when he signed the big new extension in 2018, so it’s disingenuous to now complain about how little he’s being paid in the last 3 years of the deal (and that it’s a year to year deal for the Pack) b/c if he wanted long term security or higher pay in those last years, he could’ve negotiated that at the time. And now, this whole thing is blowing up publicly and he's looking spoiled.

Honestly, I think this whole thing is about Rodgers wanting a new contract.

LOL, you know what I meant.
I meant that they don't spent a lot in FA or top draft capital on the skill positions. Their FA spending habits and 1st rd drafting history speak for themselves.

Though, in fairness to the Pack, they have used 8 second-rounders on the 4 skill spots:
--3 RBs, Dillon, Lacy, Jackson
--4 WRs, Adams, Cobb, Nelson, Jennings (that's a damn fine track record for 2nd rd wideouts!)
--0 TEs
--1 QB, Brohm

One of the worst FO's in the NFL. Embarrassing

The thing I don't understand about this whole thing is, I don't understand where the GM went wrong, outside of Jordan Love. On offense that is. Resigning Kevin King who basically lost them their playoff game is a complete joke. That guy is fucking awful.

Their RB core is stacked. Their WR core is above-average to great. Big Bob was one of the most productive TEs in the NFL and Mercedes Lewis by all accounts is a great veteran #2 TE. Their LT just signed a monster deal and their RT is great too. Like, is it their interior linemen that he's not happy with?

He's going to make 15 million this year. That's probably the root cause of his butt hurtness.

Wahhhh, I'm a millionaire that gets to play a game for a living Wahhhh

So fuckin tired of these divas

@The Derski is MIA. He and Top Gun must be so desolate over A-Rod wanting out.
