I saw the nipple rings on the "X" chick that caught the best throw Ehldinger made all day.

Anyone gonna make the obligatory, 'Who's the next coach of Texas' thread?

Pro tip.

do not google UT nipple rings.
there’s some freaky ass dudes in Austin.

I’m not even angry. That’s the sad state of Texas football.

They have a qb who can throw. We don’t. Been saying it from day one. Herman chose a fullback to play qb because it guaranteed 7 wins; instead of picking a qb who can throw and actually building a team to have a chance to be great.

Instant classic.

Now all SoonerNation* be like:

Not that it mattered as we got the W, but rewatched the game and noticed with @ 6 minute left in the 4th quarter mark, Ehlinger ran for a 1st down attempt and went out of bounds. They reviewed play to see if he made it. He ran out at 5:59. Clock kept running to 5:50. After the review, the ref said to reset clock to 6:30ish. This gave Texas another 30 seconds. Texas wouldn't tie the game until about 17 seconds left in game. In other words, they would've run out of time, since they had burned their t.o.'s early. Should've never gone to OT. Not even going to mention the other questionable calls, but the free 30+ seconds insured OT. Not whining. We won. Just an observation.

My wife was screaming at the officials when it happened. Then I noticed it too. She is pretty laid back until she really gets into an OU game. It was a horrible screw job by a so-so officiating crew.

so so??? almost every single play uterus was holding, and not just a little hold witha good "no call" like blatant egregious both sides of the ball holding and the second OU held they were immediately called. especially on the dpi play that put uterus at the goal to go from the 2 at the end there was a huge offensive hold that they just ignored, the previous play or maybe 2 before that they were reluctant to call a blatant hold (dude tackled the defender to keep him off the qb) refs go hmmm we probably have to call that one right? other ref goes yea i guess that one will look too bad if we dont, 5 seconds later they finally throw the flag for what should have been automatic....

so-so officiating would be too kind for that crew

Gotta tell you, this was a really weird game to attend.

1. We normally take a chopper between the Addison Airport and the Cotton Bowl so I can avoid the hassle of hearing my wife complain about my language if I have to fight the traffic driving to the Fair Grounds. But this year we did drive and it was easy-peasy. We parked about a block from the Fair Grounds and walked to the stadium in about 10 minutes.

2. The crowd was the most civil I've ever seen it. Neither side was being rude or abusive. Maybe because neither of us expected too much from our team but it was kinda nice to experience. It was more like an OU/Nebraska game where each side definitely was excited but it was not out of control.

3. The game was something out of the Twilight Zone. Horrible plays, great plays, bad calls, no calls, stupid mistakes by both teams, sideline coaches more exasperated than P.O.'d and no real pageantry.

4. After the game everyone was just talking to each other and there was no boasting like any other year.

I'm glad now we went but 2020 can't get over soon enough for me.
