RULE CHANGE: Offensive penalties, loss of down

Eliminate NIL. I enjoyed the game more when the players were paid under the table.
Why? I think it’s awesome that you don’t have to worry about a star player getting suspended for selling his own stuff or selling his autograph like what happened to AJ Green and Todd Gurley respectively. Gurley didn’t make much of a difference because Nick Chubb was an absolute beast as a freshman, but AJ Green being out killed the pass game and ended any chance of a decent season before it started

OPI, and something like offensive face mask

Don't get caught.

I’m just glad the payouts don’t have to be so hush hush now. I know for a fact that George Pickens and Nakobe Dean were paid handsomely to come to UGA. There’s others that probably were, but those are the only two who I can say with 100% certainly were

We don't need 2 pro leagues.

Change certain offensive penalties to loss of down and place ball back at line of scrimmage instead of loss of yards and replay down.
Eg, Offensive pass interference.
Maybe illegal man downfield.

Discuss
Every offensive penalty is a loss of down if the defense declines it.

Or loss of limb.

You got to admit, people would only hold twice in their career.
Well maybe 4 times. Remember a tackle of a rushing defender is considered holding. Who does the choosing on the limb? and theoretically they could chose a leg first and then both arms then that last leg. Yeah it seems a bit sketch but I believe in a one legged lineman. It’s what my team uses from time to time it seems.

that never occurred to me.

This will require some additional thought.

I’d like to see it where if the offense is at either goal line and half the distance to the goal penalties are in play, and the other team commits a penalty, it should be for the same yardage.

Offense on the goal line and about to score and the defense jumps off sides for like a one foot penalty, offense should only have to move back the same amount of yardage on a false start and vice versa if the offense is pinned back at their own goal line

And a ball fumbled forwards through the end zone shouldn’t be a touchback. Place the ball back where the ball was fumbled

Please let me know. I want to have the answer incase this comes up.
