Popcorn at the ready, I wanna see the NCState contingent reaction if/when UNC decides (if they haven’t already, not likely imho) it’s time to cash in on what they have to offer the P2 while they still can.

Utah had like 2 bad years at first.
I dont know that changing conferences and such is all that extreme as people want it to be as much as team by team situation and where they are at to begin with.

To be fair, the only one that moderately resembled WVU travel (before Cincy joined) in the B12 was Utah. And saying moderately is generous. Our closest conference mate was almost 900 miles away for a decade.
 
Seems unlikely any one school will have a decisive recruiting advantage or develop one. Conference has a wealth of excellent coaches that can punch above their recruiting rankings right now, but that has limitations once you start talking CFP and natties.

When Gundy leaves, you can stick a fork in Okie Jr. Gundy's already let it be known he doesn't like the idea of trying to win on a shoestring budget which is exactly what he's facing compared to the SEC and Big 10 as they suck up the lion's share of the $$$. He'll take another job in the near future and Jr. will play hell getting someone to come in with the same fire and enthusiasm (and talent) Gundy has invested in his program for a long, long time.

Right night UNC and little brother are legally tied together.
 
Shed “Big 12” and rename the conference. If nothing else, grab “Big 16” before someone else does.

what do you even name it? cant give it a regional name. calling the conference Big then whatever number is just cliche at this point. also with the ever changing numbers its just dumb at this point. Also pretty sure the Big 8 used to own the names Big 12 Big 14 and Big 16. not sure how that holds up.
