He's not. This isn't Matt Stafford coming to LA. It's doubtful Wilson's going to make the Broncos a championship team overnight- particularly in the 2 years he's got left on his contract. He's 34 and in reasonably good health, but there's the potential that this is a very expensive 1-year deal for Denver.This isn't a Herschell to Minnesota type deal but it does feel like it could be transformative for the Seahawks:
Per NFL insider Dov Kleiman, the Broncos are sending a massive package back to the Seahawks: a first-round pick, two second-round picks, a fifth-round pick, QB Drew Lock, defensive lineman Shelby Harris and tight end Noah Fant. In exchange, the Broncos get Wilson and a fourth-rounder.
I just don't think Wilson is worth that much.
Seattle, meanwhile, gets a crapload of picks and stumbles around for a season or 3 without a dominant QB.
