Missouri got killed by the good teams in the East so they really didn’t compete with the big boys, they just beat the bad teams in conference. Rutgers isn’t close to Ohio State

Missouri has won the East twice. What he is talking about is Missouri is farther west than some of the west teams.

Why are you even putting IU in the same sentence as tOSU? That's just silly. At least if you want to throw any B1G teams name with OSU, maybe PSU or Wisky. Even that's debatable.

The first step in building a program is establishing a winning culture.
Schiano has done it before and is doing it again.

Did you see after they lost on that last second multiple lateral play a few weeks ago. Kids were crying. Pre-Schiano, they would never have been in that position. They showed guts against Ohio State and did not lie down.

They will never be "great" but they will no longer be the doormat that we have previously known, loved and laughed at.

Their ceiling is a Minnesota/Indiana type team imo . I'm not downplaying what Schiano has done. Its awesome. They're just never going to be a powerhouse program and personally I dont think they can even be in that second tier ( Iowa, Wisky, MSU type )

They will be better, but are we talking .500 and being bowl eligible? They may do a better job of keeping their middle to top recruits to stay in NJ. However, Rutgers would be competing for top recruits in NJ, the DC MVA area, which is a hotbed for PSU, tOSU( Larry Johnson territory), Clemson, and now Maryland. It will be a tough task and I hope Rutgers can be competitive. It makes our conference look better. Now if only scUM can pick up the pace, they have been bringing our conference d own:)
