Ryan Day and OSU now running scared from Washington

Too funny. Yeah -- they were silents alright, REALLY silent. You don't have blinders on, you have a full on blind fold on. It has been going on for so long -- YOUR OWN school affiliated website writes articles on it.

And Ohio State sites laugh about it.

Quinn Ewers came back because he figured out he wasn't as good as he thought he was and he knew he wouldn't see the field at Ohio State and Texas gave him the best opportunity to see immediate playing time.

As far as the Michigan Texas game -- I can't even talk trash as I have no clue what we will look like, as we will lose roughly 14-15 starters after the 2023 season. If we were playing this year -- UM would stomp Texas. 2024 -- I don't even know who our QB will be, as McCarthy will be on to the NFL and we had multiple QB transfer and no QB commits this class. Corum and Edwards will be gone, our entire OL will be gone, our DE's, all our LB's and half our secondary will be gone. So 2024 will be almost an entirely new group of starters.
Wait Brooks? he flipped to UT after Sark got in his ear.. he wasn't feeling Tom early on in his commitment.. so what is it.. the money? lol the other article also mention Kam Dewberry who his final two were UT and aggy.. he chose to go to aggy?

Lol the only dudes since Sark has been here that went to osu were Abor (who UT didn't prioritize, along with aggy and ou).. Braylon James, Caleb Burton and Simpson-Hunt (who I really really like and who BTW was the only player in TX that went there this past cycle) .. so if you think they are stunting on UT with those pickups? Sure man it's a big state with deep classes for the most part.

Again Quinn's family did not like Tom.. There was a reason why he wanted to comeback to UT 2 months into his tosu experience (along with seeing that Stroud was legit). Of course he was going to make money, he was a star in TXHSFB, his NIL earnings would hold valuable if he played in state.

We'll see how this cycle goes with Micah Hudson being a top 2 player in this state that tosu is all over. But I'm pretty sure you probably know about it more than me with your deep analysis over here

I think a small part of him was looking at OSU as a real possibility on where he'd play his entire college career - if it was all NIL, he would've never given us a look. I think he probably realized that simply being Quinn Ewers wasn't even going to get him the 2nd string role necessarily. He realized he was buried so he went to Texas where he definitely was gonna play earlier, and he got to go home. I get it from his sid.. Only because.. the guy showed up in late August? Something like 2 or 3 weeks til the season opener.. he never read the playbook or had consistent reps like the other QBs who were all there competing in Spring and during the summer.

I don't understand the thinking he left because he was given the backup role as soon as he reported.. Didn't he enroll like 2 or 3 weeks prior to the opening game of the season? I think we all could have forecasted that a hot shot kid who had no reps or the playbook was going to sit back behind 3 other QBs who were competing in the spring, the summer and once the fall camp started. I know Day did not want him to re-classify but he had no choice to accept it.. you don't tell a 5 star talent no.

From what we heard on this side was that Day tried to get him to engage more with the team.. but Quinn seemed to shut down. I personally knew something was up when he did not travel with the team and instead retreated to a cabin for hunting that weekend.

On the one hand, fuck Washington.
On the other hand, fuck those limp dicked pieces of shit in Columbus for ducking competition.

But you dropped them. So it isn’t better than ours next year.
Did you even look at the MI schedule before you posted? For 2024, yeah MI beat tOSU once in 20 years. The norm for MI.

we are 28-11 vs BiG schools.. we have losing records vs only 2 schools there.. MN 1-0 and psu 3-2
It was obviously a joke. Fuck who pissed in you Wheaties this morning? Did someone tell you that Texas is not, in fact, back and now you need a safe space?

Would you like me to post more articles talking about the Texas pipeline to Ohio State? I could post more from University of Texas website stating the exact same thing. For crying out loud -- since 2017, they've signed 6 five star recruits from the state of Texas and 13 recruits ranked inside the top 125 in the nation from the state.
I wasn't joking when I said this is a common topic in the Midwest. We are ALL hoping Texas figures it out and starts doing something. We dealt with JT Barrett for what felt like a decade at QB. We dealt with JK Dobbins the same. We dealt with Okudah locking down half the field for years. We've dealt with Ngjiba-Smith and Garrett Wilson being all-american WR's for way too long.
It is quite funny to hear all the excuses from Texas faithful why these players left, while ignoring the words right out of the mouth of the highest ranked player stating the obvious why they've left. That's why I wouldn't be surprised in the least bit if Micah Hudson leaves the state, as Texas hasn't been able to win the Big 12 -- so the chances of them winning the SEC are slim to none. So if he wants to play for titles, he will likely go elsewhere.

yes because those articles are again.. DURING strong departure and that transition class and under Tom.. You said it was the money not Tom.. I beg to differ, that's all

I just stated the record sir, no need to get upset about it... granted most of those wins come from Nebraska.. who y'all feast on too :(

Yeah. Did you? The year you removed Washington is the year we added Texas.

You make the homer Michigan fans look reasonable.

How's this -- I stand corrected -- the 6 five star recruits, the 7 other high level 4 star recruits only went to Ohio State because of Strong's departure and Tom Herman, which must have lasted 7 years -- it is purely a coincidence that it changed when NIL became legal, as these kids simply want to play for the Head Coach with a whopping 58-47 career record and who was fired for being drunk on the sideline during his last HC job. I understand now.

umm how did it go prior to Chucks last season there? Was the money there for players to stay the first two years of Chucks tenure? Again Dobbins and Browning were both silent commits to Chuck.. then of course they weren't once the writing on the wall was there that he wasn't going to make it for the 2017 season.

After that class you had Donovan Jackson (who's momma is a buckeye and keeps one in her purse)
Garrett Wilson (who is originally from Columbus and his brother still lived there)
JSN-Huge fucking miss by Tom.. like offering a scholarship after he committed to tosu bad
Ryan Watts- UT really wasn't in the picture..it came down to ou and tosu (think tosu flipped him late from ou iirc)... portaled to UT a year ago
Caleb Burton/Braylon James-- UT wasn't really a factor in those recruitments..
Abor- UT long had let this one go.. yet the kid was reaching out a few days prior to NSD1
Simpson-Hunt-- UT tried to get him to flip from Tech, failed... tried again after he flipped to tosu... failed. But UT still got the higher rated CB in the state.. aggy did as well, but I think Simpson is going to be really really good.

So you are telling me the players that UT got along the OL were because of money and nothing else.. you linked an article about Kam Dewberry.. who didn't even sign with UT. Who were the real head to heads? Devon Campbell? tosu were never in it for Banks.. neither for Neto, Cam Williams, Agbo or Cole Hutson.

So did the pipeline dry up or is UT just spending more money on players tosu targets now? lol

I now understand. You have an excuse for all of them, even going as far as the "silent commit" route. You win. The people whose job it is, is to talk about recruiting are the delusional one and Ohio State hasn't had a pipeline to Texas since Urban Meyer was at OSU.
Cant See Cheech Marin GIF

what are you talking about? the so called pipeline was during chucks in flames exit and under Tom.. but since then?? I guess UT is paying money for those tosu targets to go elsewhere? lol

Pipeline means they are consistently signing top recruits from the state. Seeing as how they signed a top guy in their 2023 class (ranked 62nd nationally), 2022 class (ranked 63rd nationally) to go along with multiple guys in the 2021 class (including the #1 ranked overall player, who only came back to Texas because he wasn't going to be a starter at OSU).

When you are consistently signing top 100 out of a state that is 1000 miles away -- that is called a pipeline. You can make any and every excuse you'd like for it, but that's what it is. Until Texas actually wins something -- it will continue to happen.

lol you talking about Simpson Hunt?? Again, UT signed the higher rated CB.. I think they can survive this one just as they will survive not having Braylon James or Caleb Burton at WRs.. Hell of a pipeline though lol

Texas has shown they can't survive the Big 12, but keep talking like they don't need those recruits, while OSU competes for national titles with them. I can't help but laugh when you comment about the pipeline, as if OSU hasn't reaped enormous benefits from the state of Texas.

I'd say it has done well for them, as Okudah was an all-american and a top 5 NFL draft pick. Garrett Wilson was an all-american and 1st round NFL draft pick. Ngjiba-Smith was an all-american and will be a 1st round NFL draft pick. JK Dobbins was an all-american and if he played any other position but RB, he would have been a 1st round NFL draft pick.
JT Barrett would have been a massive upgrade at QB for Texas for every QB they have had since Colt McCoy and he even made all-american teams, be it, not 1st or 2nd team, but 3rd team all-american.

It is humorous to me to hear you tried to talk it down, as Okudah is better than any CB UT has had in decades. Wilson and JNS are better WR's than any WR UT has had in decades. Who was the last WR drafted in the 1st round from UT? Roy Williams, 20 years ago?

Just wait what will happen with those recruits when Texas gets smacked around in the SEC. Those recruits will be fleeing more than ever, as they want to win something. Such a dumb move by Texas and Oklahoma to leave the Big 12.

again, Okudah was never coming here.. you act like UT has to shut down the state.. Since Okudahs class that had multiple players from the state commit to tosu.. it's dwindled to 1 last season? I bet you are ready to tell me that UT missed on the top TX QB and we had to rely on an OOS QB..
