Everybody that goes to practice says Lonergan looks the best…but because he is a True Freshman Saban hasn’t even considered him at all.

He was our best option before Hartman. A huge reason why ND has been good, but not great is they haven’t had a legitimate quarterback in a very long time. Even when we’ve had a decent one they always regressed under Kelly and Rees.

No shade on Texas, but that was my thought last week, watching Bama's o-line ripped open like a wet paper sack, a sub-par QB, and a secondary getting torched left and right.

Seriously, I think Texas drops one or two games this season, and Bama drops three to four.

I've been timing the amount of protection the QB gets from the o-line, and I'm seeing an average of two seconds.

That ain't enough for any QB, much less the ones currently playing for Bama.
