AUBURN — Ahead of Auburn football's season opener against UMass on Saturday, the Tigers released their initial depth chart Monday.

However, coach Hugh Freeze claims it didn't come from him.

"I'm going to be totally candid with you, I don't even have a depth chart," Freeze said Monday. "I don't know where that came from. I guess that's from the SID (sports information director) world. I don't do depth charts. I just don't. It's really nonsense.

As a favor, we need to arm them with excuses when MTSU hands it to Bama. The old stand bys of we didn't want to be there and the players were too focused on their draft choices aren't going to work with the opening game.

Whatever, turkey. The football program that I follow very closely has had one of the greatest dynasties in college football. Bama could lose the coach and have three losing seasons in a row and I’d be just fine.

But I am worried about you and your football program. Who’s running the show down there? Is it the same old story at Auburn where the boosters run the football program? Doesn’t seem like Coach Freeze knows what the Hells going on down there. “I don’t believe in depth charts”, yet his graduate assistant is handing one out to the press.

I don’t even know who your QB is. I literally have not read one article on Bama all off season and only clicked on this one because I thought it would make great troll bait. I was right.

I can assure you I am not worried about Auburn as I have very reasonable expectations for the season and understand the process we are going through. As for Bama I’ve no clue and don’t care and in fact had to be reminded two days ago Steele was your DC.

Think about that and then calculate who is obsessed with who?
