Not that it's pertinent to your question, but while I have a pair of $275 sunglasses, I did not pay that.

That said, they each have a purpose. The expensive ones are for sports because of their coverage and durability. The others mostly for the different styles.

I am not a spider.

I use my Smiths for fly fishing....sees right through the glare in the water.

I wish my Goodrs were that good...because I am obviously afraid of dropping them in the river while I am out there

You gonna tell me you'd wear the same shoes to a barbeque that you'd wear to church? Or even the same shoes with your suit as with your seersucker sport coat? Nah, bro.

Yeah, actually I do. I wear one pair of shoes for nearly everything. Work shoes = church shoes = BBQ shoes = disc golfing shoes = yardwork shoes. And I'll wear that one pair of shoes until they fall apart and I replace them with another single pair of do-everything solid-black breathable "cross-training" shoes. I've been wearing this same pair of Under Armour shoes I've got on now every day for three years and they're still in good shape. It's all I need.

The only other footwear I own are for 100% functional purposes:
- I have a cheap pair of slides for when I'm at the house and need to do something quickly and leisurely outside like take the trash out.
- I have a decent pair of boots for winter outdoor activities.
- I have a pair of shoes for indoor athletic activities (specifically gym court volleyball).
- I still have my 27-year-old USAF "dress blues" shoes I'll use for extremely-rare "formal" occasions. (I don't even own a suit or sport coat. I've worn a tie twice since 2001 and both times were for my brothers' weddings when I was in their wedding party and they provided the attire.)

You need set straight brah.... shoes are awesome. I have a pair for all occasions and my bean pole is bigger than yours. I also have a thing for watches
