The consenus is starting to look like the SEC is going to 9 games with 3 permenant opponents and this is one guys projection. I'm totally for this as look at Alabama picking up Tenn, Texas and Auburn. Texas gets what could be 3 annual loses in OU, Bama and aTm. To me LSU gets off the hook with Arkansas, FL and Miss State.

This is not the most evenly weighted schedule that I've seen but I wouldn't be against it and it does keep most of the historic rilvaries together that can be salvaged. It's interesting that they are pushing KY into a western direction and Auburn into an eastern one.

I'm sure there will be holes shot in this, but really, not all that bad.

With Oklahoma just coming in, I would prefer not to be matched with Missouri; an LSU or Arkansas would move the needle for me more.

But long time fans of their teams will have some opinions.

Really, we're just glad to be here.

Not too bad.

Swap Bama v. Texas, giving Bama v. LSU instead, and give Texas MSU. That makes more sense. Texas' schedule is too tough otherwise,. and you don't want to lose Bama v. LSU, the best rivalry in the past decade.

Otherwise, looks good to me. Can't wait.

Swap Tennessee in for Bama on the Jexas schedule. They can battle for who gets to but UT and who gets to be UTjr for the next year.

Oh hell no

I love that matchup.

I feel you, but I can't let Bama v. LSU go ... it's too good a rivalry. I am not sure why it keeps getting lost in these combos. UTjr and Auburn are rarely great at the same time - UTjr hasn't been for 2 decades, and Auburn is the most inconsistent up and down team I can remember. So giving them LSU is a must. UTjr, UT, and Auburn is too easy for Bama. Bama, ATM, and OU is too tough for anyone.

No way ... being "new" to the SEC maybe you don't realize the hate in the Bama v. UTjr game. Hell, it has name. The entire Bama stadium lights up stogies when they win. Former HC Phill Fulmer can't go into Alabama for fear of being sued - Vols' Fulmer skips media day to avoid subpoena.

"Oklahoma and Texas have played more SEC games than most would realize."

I wonder if they are counting games with Missouri all time as SEC games ???

You don't want your permanent 3 to be Texas, LSU and aTm. You will want that Missouri in there and you have to trust me on that one. You guys just don't understand how brutal the schedule can be and now we are adding the 9th game so depth is going to be even more important. This isn't KSU, Baylor and Iowa State back to back this is potential Texas, Auburn and LSU back to back. You will be talking to your friends and say "remember when we thought it was hard to go to Manhattan, Kansas and win?".

Different world.

Oh, I have no delusions at all, I was thinking of it from a 'better game' perspective, but it will probably be what it's always been with them, so whatever.

Makes sense. Since A&M entered the SEC, hasn't Texas played Georgia the same number of times as A&M has played them?

Yeah, it was such a different world it took Mizzou exactly one year to win the SEC East after moving from the Big 12 to the SEC.

Georgia, Vandy, and Missouri? I'll take that every year
That’s your schedule now. Problem is you don’t wait 10 years to get Bama, Auburn, LSU, aTm and now Texas plus OU.
