It should be. It leaves the most flexibility to play all the teams more often.A 2 team schedule is not even on the table but thanks for trying.

I follow this closely, and haven't heard it mentioned but I really like it if we are going to stay at an 8 teams IC schedule. It makes no sense if they go to 9 IC games. The way I drew it out would get the okay from the bottom 8 and they evidently need that. Although going with 8 IC games means they don't have to kowtow to the bottom 8. Still go with mine for TV inventory. BTW, it's the TV inventory that will make us go to 3-6.It should be. It leaves the most flexibility to play all the teams more often.
No way ESPN allows that. That's a must watch game ... don't want to miss the Yell Leaders.I still got $10 on Aggy working behind the scenes to stay out of the Longhorn’s “pod.”
That has to go back to being a thanksgiving game, IMONo way ESPN allows that. That's a must watch game ... don't want to miss the Yell Leaders.
1. Ole Miss is not a historic rival. Those would be Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee and Florida. Auburn vs Miss State has more history as we never played Ole Miss until divisional play.Alabama and Georgia are both your historic rivals. That is why I assume Ole Miss.
You are not getting away from Alabama and Georgia unfortunately. It is better than the other tables that had you playing Alabama, Florida, and Georgia in this thread.
Why pick on me when others had worse lineups?
8 games works for you guys because Tech is basically your 9th game but if we do that Auburn vs Georgia is toast.I follow this closely, and haven't heard it mentioned but I really like it if we are going to stay at an 8 teams IC schedule. I'm am all for the 9 game IC and we will keep Tech. We won't play 2 hard P5 each year so we will have to do some scheduling changes.8 games works for you guys because Tech is basically your 9th game but if we do that Auburn vs Georgia is toast.
This is going to come down to economics and the 9 game schedule is just worth more money to the conference as a whole. Teams like Missouri, Kentucky and the a Mississippi schools are goin for fight it because they want the additional cupcake but it’s time to man up.
Miss St? What kind of booshit is that? At least give us Arky. Not that I think this is better, but here’s a TWO PERM rival scheme:
TEXAS: OU and TAMU
OU: TX and MIZZOU
TAMU: TEXAS and MISS ST
AUBURN: BAMA and UGA
UGA: AUBURN and FLORIDA
LSU: BAMA and OLE MISS
MIZZOU: OU and ARKANSAS
ARKANSAS: MIZZOU and KENTUCKY
OLE MISS: MISS ST and TAMU
MISS ST: OLE MISS and TAMU
KENTUCKY: TENN and ARKANSAS
TENNESSEE: VANDY and KENTUCKY
VANDY: TENN and SCAR
BAMA: LSU and AUBURN
SCAR: FLORIDA and VANDY
FLORIDA: UGA and SCAR
You sure are fixated on the Yell Leaders. Something you want to tell the class? Don't let the hangers get in your way of opening the door.No way ESPN allows that. That's a must watch game ... don't want to miss the Yell Leaders.
At first, I had y’all with LSU and Bama getting MSU. But I switched it up. I mean. Either way. It’s 16 teams.Miss St? What kind of booshit is that? At least give us Arky.
LSU has a bad taste in my mouth, and I'm sure with theirs, because it felt too forced. As soon as we joined it was supposed to replace the Jexas game and tried to get sold that way. Arky still has the SWC history. I'd be ok if it were on something like a 4 year rotation for the second "permanent" game. I don't know, I'm not paid to try to figure that stuff out so haven't spent a lot of time. I'm sure I'll find some reason to be upset about whatever they come up with.At first, I had y’all with LSU and Bama getting MSU. But I switched it up. I mean. Either way. It’s 16 teams.

2. You don’t get the easiest road it just doesn’t work the way.
3. No one else caught crap because they didn’t throw Auburn under a bus and made their own schedule the easiest in the SEC.
Texas wasn't even in the top half of the lowly Big 12 last year! How are they going to be in the top half of the SEC?I have no problem with the idea that you have a top 8 and a bottom 8. The top 8 should play each other. And the bottom 8 should play each other. The schedule you propose actually does that for your team - kudos to you - but lets OU and TAMU off the hook. They shouldn't get a annual bottom 8 game.
Top 8: AU, UA, LSU, UGA, ATM, OU, UT, UF
Bottom 8: MSU, OM, KY, USCjr, VU, UM, UTjr, Arky
You could switch UTjr and AU and it wouldn't matter.

I just like to rag the rusty cows when I get a chance. And the aggies. And the land thieves. He is a troll. I honestly think he made the entire post to just troll Auburn and Tennessee based on the setup.

Trash TAMU was the runaway #1 offense their first two years in the SEC against the vaunted SEC DEFENSE.Texas wasn't even in the top half of the lowly Big 12 last year! How are they going to be in the top half of the SEC?

SEC is just hype.
Once in a generation QB ? Lol. He looked good compared to the overhyped SEC defenses. Which is the point.Or perhaps they had a once in a generation QB. Noticed that they utterly destroyed Oklahoma in the 2013 Cotton Bowl 41-13. The same Oklahoma team that was 11-2 and ranked #6. Aggie did NOT do that when they were in the Big12 either. I blame that on Johnny Manziel. They haven't done a lot since he left.
