Scenario Villiage SEC Schedule Style

Once in a generation QB ? Lol. He looked good compared to the overhyped SEC defenses. Which is the point.

Trolling much? Give me a situation in the Big12 past where Texas A&M mashed an 11-2 Oklahoma team 41-13.

Or I guess the SEC is way overrated and Nick Saban's Alabama teams would have lost 2-3 games in Big12 because they could not beat Aggie with Johnny Manziel.

The SEC should return all of its National Titles and erase its post season wins because A&M went 11-2 the first season in the league with a new coach and new QB.

Trolling with facts? TAMU was a b12 also ran. Their first two years in the SEC DEFENSE league, they were the by far runaway best offense.

Conclusion: SEC defense is hype.

Ok, I guess the SEC should return all of those National Titles and vacate all of their bowl, OOC, and playoff wins because their defenses were overrated.

just saying Baker cooked GA defense too.. was he once in a generational QB?

just saying Baker cooked GA defense too.. was he once in a generational

So when 2003 LSU shut down dynamic Oklahoma, 2006 Florida shutdown Ohio State, 2008 Florida shutdown Sam Bradford and another dynamic Oklahoma offense, 2009 Alabama shut down the Longhorns and Colt McCoy, 2010 Auburn shutdown Oregon, 2011 LSU shut down Oregon and West Virginia, 2012 Alabama shut down Notre Dame, etc. where all overrated defenses and these games should just be ignored.

I mean the fact that the SEC is 14-5 in the playoff era with 5 of the 8 championships is totally due to overrated defense.

All of this because Texas A&M went 11-2 their first year in the SEC and destroyed Oklahoma 41-13 in the Cotton Bowl (but that is ignored).

Man Texas fans are delusion today.

You mean when they had SIX teams in the SEC west alone in the top15 in like week 7, and the top 5 of them lost their bowls? Yes. Sure.

You sound like Earth-centric scientists of centuries before.
“Hey, the sun is the center of the solar system.”
—“Ummm, no. Lol. The Earth is. It’s always been like that. Look at all the scientists that say so.”
“I have this lock down scientific proof about parabolic orbits.”
—“Well, ummmm, the ummm orbits must have these ummm epicycles we weren’t aware of before.”

“The B12 is just as good as the SEC. It’s not that the B12 doesn’t know how to play defense; it’s that SEC can’t offense.”
— “LOL. Everyone knows the SEC can D like no one else. Look at our low scores.”
“Ok. We will send a B12 South also-ran to your league. Look, they are the by far runaway top offense in the SEC for each of their first two years there.”
— “Ummm, well… that must mean Tom Brady and the Statue of Liberty had a baby that grew up to be a freshman quarterback to be a once in a generation player.”

Fucking like clockwork.

I'm am all for the 9 game IC and we will keep Tech. We won't play 2 hard P5 each year so we will have to do some scheduling changes.

Interestingly, going to 9 IC games doesn't affect or change our ESPN contract as one might think it would. Bringing in OU and TX does. It will be done at the same time.
I think the selling point
Alabama, Kentucky, and Vanderbilt are Tennessee's most played rivalry games and are cited in nearly every media source.

Tennessee has played Kentucky 114 times and Vanderbilt 108 times. They are not ending those series anytime soon.

Also, Kentucky has been pretty damn good the last 5 years. I think they have been better than Auburn in that span.

Your post shows me you don't know jack about Tennessee football.

I can agree to #1, I was just trying to find someone that was "easier" than Florida to be on your schedule. There have been great Auburn-Ole Miss games since formation of SEC West.

I agree on Auburn-Tennessee being a rivalry game but it is a rivalry that kind of died during the division split. However, most Tennessee fans would pick Florida as the #4 team if they could keep 4 permanent opponents. Auburn would be #5 or #6 (I think Georgia might be bigger than Auburn now as well for Tennessee).

Now there is no way they let us get away with what @WhosYourDawggy's suggestion and have only KY and Vandy as permanent opponents :).
My post didn’t say anything about Tenn’s historical rivalries and I certainly didn’t need a tutorial.

What I said was they weren’t going to left you have such a easy road with both Vandy and Ky. So yeah you’ll probably lose one and my guess is Vandy based on most proposed models.

You really need to read and understand posts before you respond and start rants.

Wow... just wow... So you are saying they are going to cancel the Tennessee-Vandy series.

Perhaps we should cancel Auburn-Alabama as well to make Auburn's schedule more fair.

Not losing Vandy UTjr. Maybe you did need the tutorial.

Trash TAMU was the runaway #1 offense their first two years in the SEC against the vaunted SEC DEFENSE.
SEC is just hype.
Would have been even worse with JFF running a train on Big12 defenses.

Or perhaps they had a once in a generation QB. Noticed that they utterly destroyed Oklahoma in the 2013 Cotton Bowl 41-13. The same Oklahoma team that was 11-2 and ranked #6. Aggie did NOT do that when they were in the Big12 either. I blame that on Johnny Manziel. They haven't done a lot since he left.
Got ranked #5 and arguably screwed out of the playoffs, but I'mma let you finish anyways.

Y'all have won so many more Big12 titles than A&M, right? I mean you were there 10 years after us so probably put up a cool 9 or 10 titles, right? Since you aren't an also ran.

Texas wasn't even in the top half of the lowly Big 12 last year! How are they going to be in the top half of the SEC?
Brand, TV eyeballs, tradition, blue blood, revenue. I said you could swap UTjr and Auburn based on current performance. It’s fair to throw UT in there, too. Fair point.
He is a troll. I honestly think he made the entire post to just troll Auburn and Tennessee based on the setup.
Lol, I get criticized for writing too much detail, now you say I’m a troll. What you meant to say is I’m a meanie who put your team in the bottom of the SEC. Persuade me you should be in the top. I’m open to that. There was a time you were top 6, but then the last two decades happened.

You’ll get your chance to prove that in a few years. We’ll see.

Think about for a minute and you’ll see I’m right.

Tenn vs Alabama is not going anywhere.

More than likely Tenn vs KY isn’t going anywhere because that’s all KY has.

You guys have huge games with FL & UGA that are ratings getters as well.

Alabama vs LSU is done as well and that’s a massive game.

There are going to be some hard choices and I’ve seen multiple models that have Vandy going away. It’s not a sure thing it won’t but it’s not a guarantee you’ll salvage it either. If we go to 8 game schedule with one permanent opponent then the game is gone anyway.

It’s just the way this is trending right now.

For the record I’d be fine with ditching Bama and it would probably be more healthy for the state but the ratings are too high. Ratings are going to make the hard choices not emotions.

Not losing Vandy UTjr. Maybe you did need the tutorial.
Read my response. Chances are it’s Vandy or KY getting cut loose. Just like Bama vs LSU. It maybe KY but UT vs Vandy doesn’t bring any ratings or value to the conference. People are going to get their feelings hurt.

Still waiting for someone to come up with something better than this…
