I agree that Frost isn't the guy for ASU.

Norvell has a history at ASU, but it's to imagine a coach at FSU leaving for a school like ASU.

There was a joke that when the team got back to Lincoln airport there was a large group of people in the terminal heckling Frost.
He got mad, threw a soda can at them, and missed.
 
Could happen. It's going to be hard for ASU to hire a coach with HC experience at the P5 level.

That said, I'd take my chances and hire someone unproven and hope you hit on the hire.

Yeah, it was already going to be tough because they're not really a "known school".

Add in the NCAA investigation with them being in a conference that may be on the verge of folding, and they are probably best off by just making the interim coach permanent and let the investigation and conference drama get sorted out.

Maybe the interim shows he's the guy for the job once all that other stuff is done? If not, then they can let him go and conduct a proper search.

It would make zero sense to leave FSU for ASU unless the sun devils decide to throw bank at him, which they don’t do
