One Rowdy Fanbase Puts College World Series Jell-O Shot Record In Jeopardy Despite Lack Of Champions

After Ole Miss set the bar high at last year's College World Series, it is the Tigers of LSU who will try to break the Jell-O Shot record.

Across the street from Charles Schwab Field, the unofficially official Jell-O Shot National Championship is held at a local bar each and every June. Rocco’s Pizza & Cantina began the challenge a few years ago and it has taken on a life of its own over the last few years.

Ole Miss holds the all time record of 18,777 shots but LSU is in town this year.

Don't punk out Tigers.
 
Why not just do regular shots?

I probably drink more than anyone on this forum. I don’t want my alcohol in a form that feels like a raw oyster sliding down my throat, and I love raw oysters

I think they do.

I remember reading articles where restaurants in Glendale Arizona actually ran out of liquor when LSU played in the Fiesta Bowl. The will is there they just have to know the contest exists and then they will do what it takes to take the record because no one should question their ability to do so.

Meh, ain't no pressure there. Like the Dawg fan and DC said, jello tutty fruitty shots are for pussies. Shoot that alky like a man, straight. But since this is some sort of competition, I guess, then jello tutty fruitty shots are allowed.
If those Ole Miss goofs think they can out jello-shot those LSU goofs then they living in a dream world.

I guess the line is at 1. I'm not ever going to make them and I'm never going to actually eat/drink one again either. If Auburn makes it to Omaha and I go then I'll buy a small round for the kids that are around but it isn't going down my throat.
