LSU's still there for at least one more game (tonight) so they'd likely have beaten the Ole Miss record even without his help. They were already close to the record when he bought the 6000 shots.
Not only does LSU travel well to the CWS, they're also an Omaha fan favorite.

The Ole Miss record was about 18,000. When he bought the 6000 it put LSU at 23,000.
That means they were already about 17,000 when he bought them. He just made sure the record would be crushed and likely stand for years if not ever.

Yeah it’s over and will never be beaten unless someone just throws a crap ton of money down just to win it.

No one is breaking that record unless LSU decides to do it future years. There just isn’t a fan base alive that can out drink the corn dogs.

As I'd stated before, that Raisin' Canes owner didn't even have to buy those 6,000 shots to beat the Ole Miss record at 18,777.
He just made damn sure that record would be crushed.

I could see LSU fans trying to break their own record in the future. LOL
