Sean Connery dead at 90

Well fuck! I always liked his roles. Bond of course, but also many of the roles when I was growing up....Hunt for Red October (I was ready to believe a Russian sub commander could have a half Russian-half Scottish accent), the Untouchables (I feel like the Oscar was more lifetime achievement, but he owned most scenes he was in) and Last Crusade (my favorite Indy movie).

I want to bemoan it...but 90 is a healthy long life.
RIP Sir Sean
This...while he will always be the James Bond, he had so many other amazing roles as well. 2 of my favorite are as Ramirez in Highlander and an elderly Robin Hood, along side a mature Audrey Hepburn, in Robin and Marian.

damn. well, you lived a helluva life, ol' boy. RIP, Connery.

One of my fav actors. RIP Mr. Connery

"Pushy, Pushy Galore"

If you say it like this it reminds me of his James Bond days. Don't forget his role in "The Man Who Would Be King". That was an awesome movie.
Liked him in the Molly Maguires

This Twitter thread is a pretty neat story. Connery sounds just as awesome and cool in real life as he was on film. (Fwiw, it sounds like the director mentioned in the story was Brett Ratner, who is indeed, a bucket of smoke)

Man. Tin Man.
