SEC about to move to 0-4 in bowls

Mike Leach getting his ass handed to him in a bowl game isn't exactly a revelation, he was 2-4 at Wash State and 8-9 overall.

As for his personal motivation, I think you are confusing the TT administration with the TT team.
I was actually surprised by the Miss State loss (it was the only one that surprised me) as they seemed to be in a good spot to perform well.

Rest of the teams are a shit show including Auburn. I think defensively Auburn played better than I expected considering what players they were missing. Offensively Finley just isn’t the guy and grossly over threw 5 deep balls that were open. He just had to hit one. At this point the whole team just has to be rebuilt.

Yeah, I watched, it was nearly the same as the Florida game, guys running free all night and nobody able to complete a pass. Will Rogers would have torn up UFC or Houston. Instead, he got a bunch of butter-fingered losers that played worse than they did against us.

Looks like Bigsby is staying at this point, so there's that. If Finley entered the portal that might be a positive.

SEC gets a break today.

South Carolina (vs UNC) and Tennessee (vs Purdue) are on stage tomorrow.

I’d be shocked if Finley entered the portal as 1.) I think he is delusional about his ability. 2.). He isn’t going to get another opportunity where it’s his job to lose at a P5 school. If Finley transfers it will be in Spring when he loses the job and God help us if he doesn’t lose it.

Auburn better develop a QB super fast or get one from the portal.

I’ll say this that the QB issues and offensive line issues are all Malzahn’s fault and getting those positions back on track is going to take time and will be a test of what kind of coach Harsin is going to be. It won’t be fixed next year but we should start to see improvement in year three.

It just means more

Apparently A&M had the right idea

Just dont show up

Way less embarrassing
does that count as a loss?

checking notes....
yeah we gonna count that one too

i mean Cu had a better argument..BUT everyone knew Texas goofed themselves in the CCG vs them.. Oregon? LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

no.
interesting take. Oregon was #2 and then went on and beat the colorado team you think had an argument 38-16. and still finished #2 with some talk of if Miami lost the AP may have named Oregon champion

Troll if you must but Purdon't won't be an easy out for the orange checkerboard set.

Yes I know Purdue isn’t an easy out.

You'd almost think two SEC teams were in the playoffs or something.......

Remember 2017...SEC had a losing bowl record, but two SEC teams won the semis and played each other for the NC....expecting similar results this year.

IF your conference is in the playoffs, all your conference bowl tie-ins move up a slot.

Since the inception of the playoffs, the only time the SEC champ has played in the Sugar Bowl was when it was a semi-final.

Ditto for the Citrus Bowl...used to get the second-best SEC team...now it gets 3rd or 4th.

But hey, congrats on winning some mid-tier bowl that won't exist in 10 years.

Seems like a rebellious young Jewish man having to “play nice” at his Bar Mitzvah.

“Benji do you have ANY idea of how much money we’ve shelled out here? Now you straighten that tie and schmutz with the nice people and stop making your poor mother cry!!!”

Good idea to crow now before the Pac-12 plays any games...

I've lost TWO consecutive bookie contributions because of cow colleges.

RT, you do realize Texas Tech finished 9th (actually a three way tie for 7-9 with Texas and TCU but were clobbered by both of of them) in the Big 12 and Mississippi State finished in a three way tie (with Arkie and A&M) for third in the SEC West don't you? So how is that a lopsided pairing for the SEC?

Yes I know Purdue isn’t an easy out.
Purdue in the bowl game, won't be the Purdue that MSU faced. David Bell and Karalaftis both opted out to get ready for the draft.
