SEC about to move to 0-4 in bowls

You just fucking called me "a B1G covid pussy" Get off your high horse because now you're a SEC covid pussy since your team pussied out of their bowl game just like SEC covid pussies Mizzou pussed out of their bowl game with Iowa last year.
Yeah, I called you that when you drug A&M into this.

I get it. Your little assfuck buddy ran his man pleaser and made this stupid fucking hypocritical thread and you felt the need to defend him without knowing the first thing about what I was even saying.

Fuck off, cunt.

It is WAY too hard to get into UM as a normal student for them to have good looking girls. I've walked their campus many times - they have some good looking women, but far more girls who haven't been on a date in their lifetime.

Here's the thing with the big state schools...it's difficult to get in as a resident student, but if you're paying your way and it's out of state tuition they're collecting, the standards are lower...so it's more about money now than it had been....

Tennessee got screwed and that makes me happy
It was especially pleasant because they should have won and then like Lucy and Charlie Brown that shit was jerked out from under them unceremoniously...

Still going to make Hooker a keeper in the fantasy league though.

i agree, but UM is very selective with every student. not Northwestern selective, but still extremely difficult to get into, especially for a public school. Last i heard, it was between 20-25% of applicants who get accepted.

they get an absurd amount of applicants every year - i think they said between 65 and 75,000 applicants every year.

the one part they are more lenient on applicants is inner city kids from detroit -- they can get in with quality grades even if it is below the necessary requirements as part of some law they passed.

It's the same at Illinois, UW, Minnesota and Iowa. In the last 30 years they all went from trying to educate the in state students and reciprocity applicants to trying to get max money from out of state applicants. Trust me, Michigan isn't alone in this transformation.

With the prevalence of students loans, many more kids are applying. THat's why we are seeing the increase in rejections, more people trying to get in. The bigger state schools have grown but not at the same rate.

I agree they like bringing in out of state students, but UM's acceptance rate is much different than the schools you listed. UW, Illinois, Minnesota, Iowa all have acceptance rates between 55-65%. Only school in the B1G tougher to get into than UM is Northwestern.

SEC, PAC-12, ACC are combined 2-12. I'm going to get my calculator later, but that seems not good.

Thank god for Michigan State’s lower standards that both admissions and the coeds have there.

This is a thread about SEC teams, did aTm leave the SEC?

Maybe Iowa should cry covid like Texas A&M and just puss out of the game.
I doubt A&M was "scared" of Wake Forest but they did cancel too early IMO. That sure gives the appearance they really didn't want to play that game. I'm sure there are a whole lot of other teams that felt the same way with a depleted roster but played anyway. If COVID hangs around longer and the op outs/transfer portall stays smoking hot, maybe we'll see teams just decline invitations instead of pulling out.

Saw something about A&M's pullout in the Fort Worth paper the other day. Seems a person thinks A&M should NEVER refer to or use the term 12th man again. Jimbo and AD were quoted as saying they didn't have enough "scholarship" players available. Well, the 12th man was born in 1922 when a "student from the stands" came down to the field and played so A&M would have enough players. Not sure how many walk ons A&M has but most P5 schools usually list about 120 on the rosters and only 85 of those being "scholarship" unless they are giving out partials.

You might want to take a deeper look at your anger issues. OP made a thread similar to dozens of threads on this site. I'm not sure why it struck a nerve with you, but saying he's a hypocrite because of it is pretty funny. You calling posters in here "White Knights" for making comments while YOU are the one freaking out is also funny.

This is a thread about cheering for a conference as a whole, which the OP is one of the biggest "anti SEC chant" crybabies across the two hoops. Yet here he is, talking about conference scorecards.

And had A&M bailed later then Wake wouldn't be playing at all and the bowl would have been cancelled. As is Rutgers was able to backfill and we still have a game today. If the UCLA way of waiting until everyone is already seated to cancel is the proper thing to do, then I guess that is one viewpoint.

COVID + Transfer portal is what led to this cancel. Am I happy about it? No, I'd like to see the team out there no matter who is suiting up. But I understand the situation.

I'm not freaking out, I'm enjoying that we have both hypocrites and white knights so readily self identifying for all to make fun of.

It’s a typical Hoop thread. It’s a thread about how pathetic all the teams in the big bad SEC have been. It’s a thread making fun of this. You swooped in with your panties in a wad over it, presumably “White Knighting“ for the SEC and preceded to call out the other “White Knights” and then went even further crazy ex-girlfriend bat-shit crazy and called me a cunt and telling me OP was my assfuck buddy.:dhd:
