They probably show up against Jexas or some no name team that they will "for sure" beat.
 
Yeah they sell out usually but not always for Texas, Kansas, and Oklahoma State but that's it. And that's with having Billy Tubbs, Kelvin Sampson,and Lon Kruger. It's a shit sport what can I can I say? It's something to pass the time until the diamond sports start.

I still think A&M wins. Wrightsell injury destroyed us, we don’t shoot it well enough without him. Unless Chris Youngblood(who shot 40% from 3 each of the last 3 years) decides to finally return to form

I like Bama a lot in this game

TAMU D sits back in the paint and lets teams shoot. And Bama lets it rip. The space will do them well. Bama is clicking too

Not sure, our offense is Taylor. One game against a third tier team we can do, not sure about Bama.

I think we have one of the best 3pt defensive stats. Our defense gets in your jock as soon as you cross into the front court, definitely not a team to retreat to the paint.

I'm not saying you're not successful or cant be(even with 3 pt shot being volatile), y'all have opponents that shoot like 30% against you good for 81st in nation so very good.

But what I have seen is Buzz runs a very packed defense to challenge shots at the rim and in the paint(works well). And that is supported by the fact A&M is 306th in the country in 3PA against them per game. Meaning they are like top 50 for most allowed

Thats just why I like Bama. While they are not shooting good overall I think that offense is bound to start hitting some and overall they are playing really well offensively right now.

Of course, maybe ya'lls stiff D meets them at the rim and they continue to miss shots and you guys blow them out. But no Taylor and I like the match up for Bama at least.

The keys to beating Bama are the following:
1. Slow them down their offense is built off playing fast and getting a shot off quickly.
2. Make them uncomfortable beyond the arc where they feel harassed.
3. Take advantage when Sears is sitting their game takes a big dip.
4. Make them try to beat you in the paint.

Buzz and Bruce’s staffs are probably the best at scheming opponents and making adjustments so as long as aTm is healthy you can bet they won’t make coaching mistakes so they should be in the game.

No if it’s broken that’s his season if sprained it could be three weeks or more. Auburn is going to have transition to a 3 point shooting team and that’s going to be tough without the paint threat.

They have the talent and the resume to still have a good season but without Brooke a NCAA run will be extremely difficult.
 
Even though I’m officially on the UGA roundball bandwagon, it can’t compete with NFL playoffs, but I see they beat Oklahoma by 10.

Reckon that gets em in the top 25?

I’m sure it’s like this in any conference but home court is massive in the SEC and no one is safe in 80% of the gyms on the road.

Auburn has an advantage where we only play UT once and it’s at home (opposite of last year where that game actually decided the conference champ and may this year).

Auburn & Alabama play home and home and most likely split.

Ain’t no is going to lose fewer than 2 conference games this year.

We found some offense, but not quite enough. I'm confident with Wade back we can beat Bama, so not too worried. As long as we didn't get run out of the building I was going to be ok, and we weren't.
 
Very solid win for the Tide last night. A&M probably isn’t top 10 without Taylor but still a solid top 25ish team IMO.


The officiating was horrible. Neither team could play defense. It was brutal
