SEC Basketball

You are infringing on A&M's motto, sir.
It’s been a while. UGA baseball finally coming around, it’s time roundball does too. Way too much in state talent in both for both programs to have been bad for so long

I’m gonna keep following. They seem to be a whole lot better at home than on the road, and I’m not asking for a deep tourney run, I just wanna make the tourney
Home court advantage is massive in the SEC. It’s not just the fan energy the refs tend to favor the home team and I don’t say that as a complaint just as an observation that has to be dealt with.

The good news is you can lose by 20 away and it’s not that big of thing but you don’t want it happen at home.

In my opinion Georgia is trending up, not a top 25 team but definitely into spoiler contention. If I had to guess your season may come down to the SEC tournament and while you won’t have to win it you will need to win one or two games.

I called OU going 0-4 to start SEC play. if they go 0-5 then just fold the season, it's over if you can't beat SCar at home.
I'm down with that. Not looking like Porter Mosier is the guy. I'm all Thunder right now anyways it's just a much better product. Maybe the SEC can win a Natty. The SEC hasn’t even had an NC participant since 2012.

Dude the NBA is crap and unwatchable. College basketball is so much better it’s not even comparable.

It’s amazing you were on thread so gung-ho and now you have already folded your tent and quit on your team and want to fire the coach.

If you want to be successful in basketball fill your arena and support the team.

This is a pathetic post.

Gotta agree, and my NBA team is pretty good (when healthy). Much rather watch CBB than NBA. To me NBA is the soccer of the sports world. It's all about acting and throwing your head back when you drive to get a phantom call. :L

Not quite accurate. I believe the SEC has had 2 and the big 12 has had 3 in that time.

Yeah, the NBA kinda sucks right now. All the star players miss so many games, I'm finding it hard to be engaged. And this is coming from someone who would always watch the TNT Thursday night doubleheader and the ESPN Friday games. Now, that there's B1G CBB games on Fridays I watch them. But hell even if not, I'll watch a fucking MAC game before an NBA game these days.

I think that we are in the best years of college athletics right now. Between all the channels having broadcast rights and ESPN+, I can find live college sports almost any night. Still can't bring myself to watch most womens college basketball because it is TOO lopsided, but overall there is something to watch every night. :suds:

Yeah on top of that, I think having NIL is huge in keeping some of the better players in CBB longer than they would have been. And yeah ESPN+ is such a great thing to have and definitely worth the money (I have the Disney Bundle). I'm a CBB degen so I'll watch a Sun Belt game between App State and South Alabama if that's the only thing on. Lol. Also, having ESPN+ is huge for those early round tournaments for the smaller conferences. Before ESPN+ is was basically impossible to watch the smaller conference tournaments early rounds.

I don't know dudes I think OU basketball was supported okay but still not great before the Thunder got here. But being the only pro team in town they get a lot of pub. And have some some truly great players(Westbrook, Durant, George, Paul, Hardin, Oladipo, etc.) that have always put butts in the seats. Thunder probably going to win it all this year too with this young team. OKC is regarded as having the best fans in the NBA but OU probably has the worst fans in the SEC in mens basketball. It's hard to explain.

Kentucky has the worst defense I have ever seen from a top 10 team

I honestly don't know if they even practice it

Certainly not the strong half of their team.

Love their offense though

Except this Perry kid, why the fuck is he playing? He wouldn't crack the top 10 of the gophers rotation.

He's a good three point shooter.
