Yeah, well I rolled over one of my IRAs and it seems this transaction got randomly flagged by Homeland Security because it is "over their threshold". (Like a frickin' retired educator has huge amounts of money laying around. But like all auditors, they randomly pick so many to check out. Wish I could randomly win the lottery.) They want to "know the source of these funds being deposited in this account". WTF, it is an IRA. Where the hell do they think they came from?

You are right.. I ain’t too bright. But the mattress is East Texas stuff. We’re more sophisticated than that in the oil patch.
