GAME Selection Show Thread Now on CBS

Texas and UNC in. Thinking WVU and Boise are out.

Damn. Xavier didn't just get in, but they got a fantastic draw

Michigan at a 5 and Wisconsin holding onto a 3 surprised me.
Play the B1G championship at a normal time.

Committee isn't working OT...

Texas, Illinois, UK

Not sure you could have asked for a better path as a team praying to just get in.

14 SEC teams, still got Ohio State fans using the "we are a football school" excuse for "NIT expectations" though

UNC getting in this year may be the wrist at large ever

No real quibbles with the bracket selection other than the obvious one with UNC. The committee clearly doesn't respect the ACC this year (and rightly so) as the 2nd place finisher Clemson is a 5 seed while 3rd place Louisville is an 8. Yet UNC's lack of accomplishment still gets them in. If NC State, Wake, or even UVA had the exact same resume, they'd be left out. UNC is in on pure name value alone no matter what they claim is the reason.

Only other minor issue is I think Michigan is too low as Big10 champ. Should have flipped their seeding with Wisconsin (I don't give a shit about regions, make it work). But recent history shows they don't really give much of a fuck about conference tournaments so that's probably their reasoning for the seed line being more about overall season

lol

Such a joke

Now I wish UAB would have won so UNC would have gotten kicked the fuck out. Brutal selection.

That's what is hilarious. Louisville went 18-2 in the league and got an 8 seed because the league is viewed that poorly(not incorrectly) but UNC still gets in playing in the same league, losing 7 times and having 1 Quad 1 win.

As I said already, it was always gonna happen. But doesn't make it any less comical

Of course the AD of UNC is the chair

I think we should be able to win our 1st round game, but that potential matchup with Houston isn’t fun.

Would have rather faced any of the 7 seeds than Gonzaga for UGA.

They're so lazy they couldn't even do half a bit of work to justify their bullshit with UNC. If they seeded Clemson and especially Louisville just a bit higher, they could maaaaybe claim the ACC as a whole wasn't that bad to justify including UNC too. But everything they did suggests they think its dogshit but still put in UNC for "reasons"

Of course the dudes couldn't answer why UNC made the field. No shit if UAB would have won they would have been out. Why are they IN the field? Predictives?

WVU was projected in 111/111 brackets on Bracket Matrix. First ever unanimous team to be left out.
