That didn't last.Bracket thought of the day
Of the Top 25 NET teams, only 3 have perfect records on a neutral court
Florida, Tennessee and Wisconsin.
Texas in with a 6-12 conference record?
I get the SEC had a great year but come on.
I was fine with them getting in. At least they had good wins unlike UNC.
meh, i hear you, but the bids had to go somewhere.Texas in with a 6-12 conference record?

if Wake Forest beats FSU and/or UVa at home, then they are in the tournament
if Pitt didn't implode down that stretch then they are in the tournament
same goes for teams like Nebraska and Ohio State.
this was just a weak year for the sport. it's very top heavy and we are in a weird transitionary period where certain programs have adapted to the new system better than others. i think there will eventually be a correction, but this is where we are right now.
fwiw, i think this tournament is going to suck relative to past years. it's still the best post-season in sports and will deliver in some way...but Duke, Florida, Houston, Auburn and Tennessee are going to steam roll everyone until they play each other.
Seems like it was a very weak year for the bubble. I am glad they didn't slide a 5th MWC team in at least.
They had a bunch of quality losses and SOS was there. I don’t have an issue with Vandy it’s Oklahoma that looked like shit down the stretch.Vanderbilt went 8-10 in the SEC, had zero quality OOC wins (their OOC schedule was actually pretty bad) 4-8 since the start of February and firmly was in. Some mediocre SEC teams definitely got the benefit of the doubt from the success of the top.
