Do you mean like RLB or LLB and a list of positions you have to take, not a choice like 5 from HB, FB, Wr, TE?

More offensive vs. defensive matchups. Having to have 1 RB 1FB 2WR and 1TE, so then you can have the traditional 2 CB set up.
 
Just my opinion but not picking specific positions RDT, LDE, RT, LG, LOLB ect... is just lazy. We have done so many drafts it feels like we are just doing the same draft over and over but i'm just being selfish I reckon.

I am going to spend some time trying to come up with an idea for a MLB draft, something different! Maybe a super draft of some sort...

There are no set positions guys change on a play by play basis. Guys always change sides to get a better matchup. If you’re playing a guy out of position like a 3-4 DE as a 4-3 that matters but left or right side is completely worthless

3 WR and no FB is the traditional setup if we’re going by modern standards

Worthless to you maybe, but they do have listed positions right?

So, what is so difficult about just drafting them for their listed position and then we can all just assume, yeah they move around.

Who cares what PFR says? You think Reggie White lined up in the same spot exact every play his entire career? Of course not. Why should I not be allowed to draft a guy I want to pick because PFR has him listed on one specific side when he can clearly play on the other side? And it’s my team I should be able to play guys where I want to play them.

You are missing the point but I don't care enough to continue. From now on I think drafts should be wide open, if you wanna draft a punter to play left guard, have at it!

Correct. I’m also fine with drafting 12 as we do now though. Obviously it’s assumed of a team has 3 WR on the field then defense will have 3 corners and if the offense has a FB on the field then the defense will be in base and the third corner on the bench

That's a bit extreme. I like the positional requirement, however I think exceptions should be made in the event a player made a probowl or all-pro at a different position. Then positional requirements should be waived if they were able to show they could play the position at an elite level.
