Had a nice weekend. Soccer season is over, last game went well. Only thing that didn't happen was trying to get the one girl who didn't score this year a goal. Naturally, the one good shot she took wound up being on a sequence where somehow three of the other team's players were standing in front of the goal, and they kicked it away.

Got a couple more baby things that we had stored at my parents' house back to my place yesterday.
 
Went to South Dakota to the Broad's mom's place for early Thanksgiving.

Mebbe 40% of the people in that cowboy town were wearing masks.

The guy at the GNC, was not one of them.
 
morning

went kayaking on Saturday and decided I needed a better kayak. My current one is a tub and takes more effort to paddle to keep up with friends. Great night to be on the water though, that's for sure...and I have a line on a nice yak on craigslist up near Annapolis that I am hoping to check out tomorrow on my way to NJ.
 
Somewhat uneventful weekend. Met up with a buddy at a brewery Friday after work. Watched football Saturday. Made some roasted honey spaghetti squash for dinner. Lunch with mom Sunday, when I dropped the cat off.


2 day work week... Gotta pack tonight
 
Well I see the fatties showed up on the 4th post. Should've figured with this week.

Dog made a lot of progress this weekend. Vet gave him antibiotics Friday and he was a completely different dog by Saturday. Still limping, but he's able to walk up and down the stairs now.

Won our work kickball games. Was pretty stupid but was better than working.

Was not the greatest sports weekend... OSU looked like shit. Burrow destroyed his knee. Crew won, tho. OSU hockey starts tonight vs Minnesota

That's a bad football team there. Last Sunday was the nail in their division hopes. Been a hot minute since we've seen a four-win Eagles squad, but I'm pretty sure that's what we have.

In some ways, it's pretty liberating. I won't get mad anymore the rest of the season, because I have no reason to expect them to win more than a game.

Plus, after the first month of the season, it was fairly obvious that they were only even in the playoff hunt because the whole division blows. They're actually helping themselves at this point by being bad.

I want to give Wentz the benefit and say the line just isn't protecting him...but he is making so many bad decisions

Gophers beat Purdue in totally non controversial fashion
Vikings lost Dalton lead cowboys. Couldn't stop red rocket magic late in the 4th

Saturday night ordered pizza, MN is currently take out only. I was out of beer (I know, shameful), when I picked up the pizza asked if i could add a beer to my order. Sure, are you going to drink that here? Ah no, it's a roadie for the drive home
