Go Winthrop!!

I didn't realize so many conferences have gone to the ladder format, but it makes sense to protect their best teams from getting upset and left out of the big tourney

Yeah, it's really been happening a lot more recently. The Sun Belt was notorious for having their best team get upset, so the format makes sense. Although it is hilarious that there was a 4 way tie for first this year. Lol.

If Drake beats the #8/#9 winner I feel pretty confident about them getting a bid. If they get to the final they'd be 27-3(in D1 games) and losing to presumably Bradley/Northern Iowa would only be a Q2 loss. Of course if we have 5 bid stealers again, nothing is guaranteed.

May not be as many bid stealers this year.

The Big East and ACC are ripe for one, but so many teams seem like dead weight in those leagues, not to mention it feels like Duke is going to romp.

I'd say most likely are probably MVC, Mtn West, AAC, WCC and I'd say Nova might be able to make a run in the BE especially if UConn and St John's are on the opposite side of the bracket

OVC, NEC, Big South and Summit kick off tonight.

Day basketball has arrived. The MVC kicks off at 1:00 ET today. Hell yeah. 9 out of the next 10 days will have day basketball. Only Monday will not feature day basketball until Selection Sunday.

Time to have the scoreboard up and my fingers on shift+alt

Home office is in my living room, so I just turn on the TV and mute it. Any calls or zooms im still good. Lol

Pretty good 1st half if I do say so myself.

Loyola vs. Bucknell headed to overtime. I'm surprised Loyola was the 8 seed in the PL. I saw them in person earlier this year, and they played pretty good overall.

Watching some Horizon League QF.

It's a marked difference between high major. Makes you wonder how a team from these leagues could ever beat a team like 2018 Virginia.

Yeah for sure. I was thinking as I was watching this Bucknell game, that's it's absolutely crazy they were a 9 seed in like 2007 or something like that. I just can't see that every happening again. The PL is the 27th rated conference this year. I think the days of true mid/low major schools having that good of a season are probably down bc of the portal.

Patriot League is cyclical.

Lehigh used to be good and produced CJ McCollum. But yea, now with new rules, a guy like that can transfer twice in 3 years and climb the ladder

#1 seed in the A-Sun Lipscomb going to OT against #6 Queens. If Queens wins North Alabama will automatically get the auto bid since Queens is ineligible. Lipscomb vs. North Alabama would legit be a great title game. UNA is top 125 in NET.

#1 Lipscomb vs #2 UNA for the title. Great game.

Lipscomb probably looking at a #13 seed with a win and UNA is looking like a #15 seed or so.
