I don't want to really drag the Jags into this as I don't necessarily believe they deserve it yet.

no.

the lions are the lions

those motor city mofos haven't changed
I always thought of the Browns as being the bottom of the barrel but now that title belongs to the lions.

I guess with Sanders, Megatron and Stafford there over the years one had hope. Now it just seems like a depressing desert of disappointment.

Like they are so bad they should get 10 first round picks.

They hired a head coach that had never been either an offensive or defensive coordinator. The Lions made a bad hire and then traded away a darn good QB. There is a reason the Lions haven't won an NFL Championship since 1957.

Unless we lose the franchise to St. Louis, get a new version of the Lions in Detroit, then still suck, we’re just the Lions.

It’s only been 13 years since we went all defeated. And it’s not like we’ve won a playoff game in there or anything.

He’s been a HC before though. So…

Their franchise is worse than the Browns ever have been. They had the most important piece, a franchise quarterback, for 12 years and still never even managed a playoff win.

If there's any question why the Lions are who they are, this picture right here tells you everything you need to know:

Just you wait for the Browns/Lions Super Bowl.

The Lions are their own perennial brand of suckdom.

Don't forget that Sanders and Megatron quit at nearly the peak of their careers, with good years left. That's how depressing Detroit is to NFL football.

The stupid team gets a guaranteed home game every year on Thanksgiving, and still can't win more than one playoff series in nearly SIXTY years.

They should fold the team, move assets to a new city and start the record book from scratch.

Almost like what the Army did the 7th Calvary Regiment after Custard got it wiped out.

I don't think the Lions need to move or rebrand. They've got a good fanbase, city, stadium, logo, branding, etc.; they just need good ownership and management. The Lions turn it around after the Fords sell the franchise.
