Nothing lasts forever and all good things must come to an end. So, what say you?

My money says it's gonna be Yellowstone.

The Sun will go supernova in about 5 billion years.....

John Dutton and his bunch are some mean sons of bitches but I don't think they're that powerful.

Yellowstone erupting will be bad for the North American continent and will certainly affect the world and will be a cataclysmic event, but!...it will not end the world. Much like the Chicxulub asteroid that supposedly ended the dinosaurs, Yellowstone would probably wipe out many animal species but the Earth would survive and life would go on.

^^^This is when the world ends.^^^

civilization is toast within 200 years. After that, within one short generation, all human life is gone.

Not if we've gotten settlements in another solar system by then...

Dumb bastards will refuse to get vaccinated when an even worse virus surfaces because some drooling mongoloids in conservative media tricks them into thinking the vaccine is worse than the virus.

Yellowstone might wipe out a significant portion of the western hemisphere, but it won't be the end of mankind, just the end of the majority of people posting here.

Mankind will live as long as the sun allows the species to live

Ignoring the fact that this isn't the PFs, but wouldn't that just wipe out those that don't get the vaccine?

No. That's not how herd immunity works. Round-heads refuse to understand this. Smallpox would still be around if there was such dumbfuckery back then.

It's estimated that in 800 million years, the sun's increased luminosity and other factors will drop carbon dioxide levels to a point where photosynthesis is no longer possible. Human's aren't extremophiles, so we'll be long gone well before it gets to that point.
