To get pulled during the 7th inning because he tested positive for Covid???

A couple of things I find odd - if these players and the staff are getting tested daily every other day per MLB protocol, then how the hell does it take that long to get results? Theoretically, if the players were all tested on the same day and Turner's results didn't come back till late yesterday, didn't the rest of the results take as long? If so, the entire team could have been one huge Covid blob.

Then I thought, well maybe the test was a false positive - how else could one explain his blatant disregard for protocol during post game interviews and photo sessions?

This is really a fucked up situation and I believe there is a bit more to the story than what was released. Stay tuned.

I find it odd that MLB had a very impressive streak of zero positive tests, and that streak gets broken in the 7th inning of game 6 of the World Series?

What was the point of taking him out of the game?

He still celebrated with everybody. Without a fucking mask.

I felt bad for him, until I saw out there again with everybody. Then I remembered how Rob Manfred is a joke.

The whole thing is weird. The test that ended up being inconclusive was taken on Monday, but somehow they didn't get the results until the 2nd inning last night. So they did a whole new test and it only took 2 hours to get those results back. That test came back positive and they removed him from the game.

Okay, makes sense. So then he was being a total dick in blatantly going against protocol by not wearing a mask and distancing himself from others?

I sense some type of individual/team punishment coming down. Will be interesting to see what the Union comes up with.

As far as him joining the celebration? Yeah, that's entirely on him.

As far as not even getting the test result from Monday until the 2nd inning? That's on MLB or whoever does their testing.
