So why was Texas a top 10 team?

Texas should be 1-2 right now if it wasn't for TTech pissing that game away.

Herman now 1-11 at Texas when trailing a team going into the 4th quarter.

1. Dude always looks like he is about to cry. Cracks me up every time.

2. Is that a real stat? That's kind of crazy.

Not alright Not alright Not alright

Texas status. Not back

And also thanking Georgia for giving zero fucks about that game.
should also thank Lincoln and Murray for shitting itself in the RRS game too that season?

Luckily we get an easy bounceback game vs an overrated dirt burglar team next saturday

Sure. Yall won the one that mattered for the Big 12 championship too right? I was a little drunk. Just remember a midget shredding some team. :beer2:

Texas should have kept Charlie Strong lol.

Teams currently ranked under Texas that should have never been lower ranked than Texas:

Penn State
TCU
North Carolina
Texas A&M
Oregon
Oklahoma State
Wisconsin
Mississippi State
Michigan
Virginia Tech
UCF
Memphis

(I would have Oklahoma on the list as well but they lost last week. Even with the loss, I still thought OU would beat Texas this year and this week confirms it).
A&M and Michigan shouldn’t be on this list.

As bad as A&M was today, I still think they would beat Texas. Michigan perhaps as well. I actually think even Tennessee could beat Texas.

They are terrible and overrated also. Pt is all 3 are generally over-rated. You are just trying to guess which one is more overrated. Who the fuck knows that answer after a couple weeks

Michigan is usually good for 9-10 wins a season. Granted that is because they play in the B1G and get crap like Illinois, Indiana, Rutgers, Maryland, Northwestern, Purdue, etc. Even Michigan State kind of sucks now. They usually get stomped by Ohio State and Penn State though.

Part of the reason for Texas is Herman is 3-0 in bowls. Getting that bowl bump every year helps

I don't go for that. I agree the team lacked motivation, but that's an excuse. We lost.

Shh. Let me fuck with a rival bro.

Michigan has won 10 games 3 times in the last 5 years. Texas has won 10 games once in the past decade.

I just do not understand how Texas could possibly be as bad as they are. A state that lives and breathes football. An endless supply of in state blue chip recruits and they have been a dumpster fire for a decade.

Michigan has won 4 of the last 6 against Penn State, including wins of 42-7 and 49-10 in the past 4 years.

PSU hammered UM when the rest of the country was hammering UM during a 7-8 year stretch with DickRod and Hoke as coach.

The team who hammers UM is OSU. That isn't even a rivalry game anymore.

Michigan seems to lose 2-3 games a year under Harbaugh. They must be losing to someone else then. I had assumed it was Penn State. Perhaps Wisconsin is beating them.

Harbaugh is winning enough that UM can't really fire him but he isn't beating (or even competing) with Ohio State which is driving Wolverine fans nuts.

I love seeing a thread dedicated to shitting on Texas.

UM loses to OSU every year and then one other team. Sometimes it is an upset like at Iowa. Sometimes it is to a team who was simply better, like PSU when they had Saquan or against Wisconsin when we were on our last healthy QB on the roster.
Harbaugh's biggest issue is -- he took over a team with no QB and took over 3 weeks before the signing period, so he didn't have one in his first class. Then his first QB recruit was Peters and he flopped. They went down the transfer route and they've been there ever since.
This will be the first year they start a QB Harbaugh recruited out of HS. If they found a way to harness the arm strength of Milton. He is a Cam Newton clone - 6'5" 245 lbs, runs a 4.6. No one knows what to expect though?!?
