Michigan's governor is glad the B1G canceled football and took leadership on the COVID front. If The B1G playing this year really had a chance to happen, Michigan was going to have to be on board and with this speech, it appears politics are going to rule.

Not going to happen. The incredibly dumb plan of starting in January (in only domes) is their only real shot but that’s so stupid when they could play now in open air stadiums.
 
The Big Ten is basically a contessa trying to decide where to eat dinner.

Because unfortunately it is 2020 and as it being an election year and the tactics being deployed from politics, everything is literally political right now.

It’s a pretty good racket — work people up (especially Ohio State fans) and get them excited about the season starting, then blame the evil Wolverines/state of Michigan when nothing happens. Last time it was Gretchen Whitmer suing the conference, this time Schlissel. Can’t wait for the next episode.
 
Who would have thought Ohio St, Iowa, and the corn shuckers would be the only 3 schools man enough to strap them up. Especially all the talk that comes from Pedo St. and Michigan rape St about being big time programs and talking down to everyone. Let’s play ball.
