How are they so bad? Day in and day out i think it will be the day the Yankees finally click and get things going and yet they don't. This roster should not be hovering around .500

Their at-bats takes a total of about 2 minutes in total. Their batter just go up there and swing at everything.

If Yankees dont make the post-season with this roster and payroll does Boone return next year? I mean this team is just underwhelming.

So far through 2 innings, Yankees pitcher has thrown 44 pitches, Phillies pitcher has thrown about 18 pitches and Phillies lead 4-0. Maybe Yanks can get the Phillies to pitch more than 12 pitches in the 3rd.

The key flaw with the Yankees is that they won't allow their players to grow beards, yet they signed a known wife beating closer with neck tattoos to multiple big money contracts, and they expect the nation to see them as a classy organization. I mean, the Dodgers and Phillies faithful love them some woman beaters too, but the Dodgers and Phillies embrace their trashy image.

They score about as many runs they allow.

Recipe for .500 baseball.

Lulz.

Braves retired a murderer's number, and you want to lecture other fanbases on class.

Our fanbase wasn't cheering on a wife beater when he hit multiple game changing doubles in the rubber game of a series. Murder is one of the cool crimes like drug dealing and tax evasion.

To be fair, Odubel Herrera isn't married, so he's technically not a wife beater.

I think some of those hitters overachieved the last couple of years, especially LeMahieu and Urshela. They've been missing Voit and LeMahieu's bat doesn't cut it at 1B. Torres hasn't really progressed after a strong 2018-19 and his power has been nowhere to be seen. Stanton's rate stats are still quite good though below his career norms, and he's barely been able to stay off the DL. The OF outside of Judge has been absolutely useless. Odor's one of the worst players in baseball.

I still expect that lineup to come around, but right now there's been very little signs to suggest otherwise.

Chipper Jones might have murdered a lot of ass, but he never actually killed anyone........if that's who you're referring to.

Whether his true value is closer to this season or to the last two seasons I don't think that Urshela is really a problem this year. He's one of very few hitters on this team who have at least been "good enough".
