Week 0 After Hours, motherfucker!!!

The San Jose State Spartans had quite the Covid-Mania 2020 campaign, going 7-1 and undefeated in Mountain West play and winning the conference title. They head into 2021 wanting to prove that 2020 wasn't just an asterisk or aberration, but the start of greatness for SJSU.

The Southern Utah Thunderbirds say hello from the FCS ranks and the too many teams filled Big Sky Conference. The 'Birds' FCS Spring session was full of frustration, going 1-5 with all 5 losses being by 1 score. This'll be SUU's first game against an FBS squad in 2 years and they're arriving with a sully disposition.

Coverage begins at 7pm PT on CBSSN.

I can’t believe this line is under four touchdowns. I think San Jose wins by 40 or 50 at minimum.

The last time SUU beat an FBS team was September 24, 2011 when they put a beating on hapless UNLV, 41-16.

San Jose State's last loss to an FCS team was August 30, 2018 when they lost their season opener to UC Davis, 44-38.

The game is currently being preempted by grown men riding bulls as competition.

I'm so starved for college football, even this interests me.

The game is on TV and the Spartan Stadium still has that half-stadium thing going.

San Jose State is determined to win by more than 1 score tonight.

Is that Bozworth as the sherif on the Dr. Pepper commercial?

The Spartans are winning as expected early in the 2nd Quarter and that construction zone backdrop is really sending me. Take that, BYU and Wyoming!

I'm starting to think this game's not going to be all that competitive.

FINAL

14 Southern Utah
45 San Jose State
