Seems very much like a win-now move for the Rams. Guess they think they've got everything but the QB in place to get back to the Super Bowl and see overpaying for Stafford as worth it if it gets them back, especially since Goff doesn't look like the guy he was in 2017 and 2018.

The more I think about the more I think this makes sense for everyone.

LA is chasing a title and got the guy they think will get them there. They get it no one's gonna give a shit about the draft capital they gave up for it. Not to mention two of the top NFC teams this year's QBs are old as dirt and that could open up the conference.

Detroit is rebuilding and got a young QB who's had some success in the NFL, if he turns shit around great you have your guy if not he's got an out in a year and they have a pair of firsts
