I used to really like Jeselnik.... then it just became too repetitive. Of course my list would probably be scoffed at.

1. Bill Burr
2. Andrew Schulz
3. Christopher Titus
4. Kevin Hart
5. Jim Breuer

Honorable mentions would be Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, Tosh.

Personal favorite show of all time - Norman Rockwell is Bleedingby Christopher Titus.

Might catch some heat for this, but I swear, the best show I have seen was by Jeff Dunham and yes, I have seen Bill Burr, Titus, Hart, etc... I have seen big names, but his show was the funniest and it was a shock to me too. He is a little more vulgar and political than he is on his netflix specials. The worst show I saw was Tim Allen, I think the dude may have been drunk. He was slurring a bit and his jokes were so dated it was pretty bad, like his target demo was STRICTLY 50+.

Here is the special. Again, personal favorite. I can relate to A LOT of this material.

My top 5 all-time comics:
1 - Bill Hicks
2 - George Carlin
3 - Doug Stanhope
4 - Richard Pryor
5 - Bill Burr

Cant scoff at your list. And I’ve seen Dunham live as well. It’s much better than the specials.

I really like Schulz and Titus. Hart lost me after his 2nd special. Breuer has never appealed to me.

Rock and Chappelle are both brilliant.

I find Dunham extremely annoying, but I believe you that his live act is better.

George Carlin used to be soooo high for me as well, but then idk... I started listening to his stuff more as a Ted Talk than comedy lol. Sure I might have found it funny, but it was more of just something to get an insight or opinion on rather than comedy.

I will never say he is not one of the greats, just how I started viewing him upon rewatches lol.

I was the same way about Breuer, but I came across some of his stuff on youtube and it changed my opinion of him completely. I think the stoner schtick is boring and lame, now he is the dad with real world problems and stuff, more real to me. He also does sports jokes, which is also nice. I like this.... (gotta let it play a little)

You aren't the only one, I have heard that a lot. I was surprised too. I didn't think it would be the worst, but I didn't expect it to be any better than his specials. Man was I wrong, I would definitely see him again.

To me, comedy isn't just about laughs. It's about pointing out absurdities that people usually accept out of hand. Carlin was exceptional at that. As was Hicks. Hicks was just much edgier. Stanhope is like both in a way, but only drunk.

Here's my personal favorite Stanhope gig. It's an hour, but if you have some time, give it a try. The shit just gets better and better.

I wasn't originally going to saying anything, but then I said 'fuck it' and came back to make a drunk joke to you since I saw you said Schlitz at first, but I didn't realize how fast you edited that. lol

I will definitely check it out.

I haven't gotten the chance to see Kreischer yet. I will say that the first 2 times I heard this joke, it was funny.

But now... it's been overused. Some friends told me when they saw him a year or two ago, he was still telling it. Like the dudes career is based off of one joke. Whatever, more power to him. He is fairly charismatic and a nice guy from what I have heard, I am just tired of the machine joke now.

With that said, it is practically a modern-day classic and welcomed to the thread.

Well to be honest, the only pushback I typically get from my list is from having Titus on it, but it happens pretty much every time lol.

If we went off of one show alone, Titus would be my number one. I can just relate to a lot of his material.... minus an actually crazy mom.
