TV Series Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett

Rodriguez is one of the EPs on the show, so I would not be surprised to see him direct more. Especially with his BFF, Danny Trejo taking an apparent, somewhat major-ish roll on the show.

It's all the same crew from The Mandalorian, but they split up the shows. I think I read somewhere the last episodes are directed by Filoni, Bryce Dallas Howard, and someone else who I can't remember but it wasn't RR.

Just watched the 3 episodes.

The sand people shit was cool.

The rest was pretty blah. Should have hired that bad ass wookie

series just seems boring to me. like fett was some cult bounty hunter for some reason, this series just paints him as the failure he is. i will give them props for giving the sand people some story and humanizing them, but from their, fett is so boring.

I really like the Mandalorian series. Boba Fett has been a disappointment.

Much, much better this week
Still need to start going places. Last two episodes were slow going and didn’t really advance the plot.

Mandalorian suffers from that every now and again.

Agreed, thats my biggest overarching issue with the show. I think they're telling us that was the end of the flashbacks which would be what gets this going. The flashbacks in this and the second episode were cool just not a huge fan of trying to do two stories at once.

That's been my only real issue so far. Might have been better to just do it all chronologically.

Yeah it still had a high cheese factor. revenge? Well that was easy.
Won't lie, I loved watching him completely gun down all those bikers like it was nothing. That felt like the Boba Fett we all knew and loved and doing it quickly can get the story going.

Yeah we could've done that Boba Fett reveal in Mando season 2 even if they had made a season of Boba Fett's flashbacks beforehand.

I think Mando is clearly appearing in the next episode or two, though. But if we can get one big bounty hunter gang bang with him, Bossk, Dengar, Krrsantan, etc. plus another criminal organization like Crimson Dawn or Black Sun in this fight against the Pykes :plotting:

Yeah the merc's are about to show up and it's gonna be great. Doubt we see Mando fighting, maybe as a flashback. But I bet they are happy just skipping over that since most should know that part. Lets focus on the present time from here on out. #EnterTheClaw

How do you “love” this character and “knew” him? He might have had a total of 5 minutes screen time in all the SW movies.

This is the first time we really get to know the character and it’s meh.

If you just watched the live action movies, that's true. But he and "his father"are known from the Clone Wars series and books.

Even if it was an episode of The Mandalorian, the latest episode rocked.
My wife hasn't watched any of the Boba Fett series with me, but was in the room for last night. She asked me at the end "isn't this about boba Fett?" :noidea:

But I loved it, having both series able to cross over story lines will be interesting. To me this really helps bolster a Marvel Universe type system for Star Wars. I have not done any research into what other story lines or characters they want to spin off. I've always wanted to see a backstory, even if it is just a standalone movie, on the Hutts.

The Mandalorian had a brief encounter with Boba Fett in the original Mandalorian series.

There's supposedly 7 episodes of this series, which means they're either setting up these last two to be either complete bangers or a complete fucking dud.

This was my favorite episode of the series and I hope the remaining ones are just as great.
