I have studied the writings of Jefferson and the philosophy and structure of the Constitution. "Pursuit of Happiness" and "property" were interchangeable terms.
Althoughthe Constitution does not contain "Pursuit of Happiness" vebatim, it does include "property", which meant the same thing.Your point?

The DOI proclaimed our claim to rights, the Constitution created the government that not only restricted the government from violating those rights but established it as the protector of those rights. As are "Life" and "Liberty".
"Life" does not mean Life or death. It means the ability to pursue the life that you want.
If one chooses to be a loser neer-do-well, they are free to do so.
Since Jefferson had a minor role in writing the Constitution, I don't see that as relevant. The 14th merely expanded the definition of who and what were citizens. If you're referring to the 14th amendment that was well after Jefferson
Dude, you are way out over your skis on this. The Declaration did not even create our government, hell, the constitution wasn’t even out first government. Hell even our constitution did not document our rights. The bill of rights which were the first 10 amendments to the original document did.It just created the US but yeah, you are probably right....no bearing at all......
He didn’t have any role. He was in France.Since Jefferson had a minor role in writing the Constitution, I don't see that as relevant. The 14th merely expanded the definition of who and what were citizens.
Pretty minor, since the Virginia Constitution, which he wrote, was used as the model for the US Constitution. He didn’t have any role. He was in France.
A failure?I feel like I’m in a chapter of Contract Law in Law School.
You ever finish you community service sentence? Finally a Missouri law for MY needs

NCAA rulesNone of this even addresses the 800-pound gorilla in the room - it's clearly against the NCAA rules. But, the Missouri state law like Texas' and some other states' laws specifically says the NCAA can't penalize the school or the player for violating the NCAA rules. It's insane, but it seems to me that a school paying a player before ESD would be a great test case for the NCAA. It's hard to say you aren't inducing the player to come to your school when you are paying him before he even enrolls.
Is this sarcasm? The Declaration of Independence is an important historical document. It has no bearing on anything in the US legal system.
It’s accurate.Is this sarcasm?
France bought it.It’s accurate.
I’d add that it was also propaganda.
Meant to be heard in France as much as in Britain.
