When I "paid by plate" it took 2-3 weeks to process

that's fine. I was trying to resolve payment from a third party, which I admit was caused by an auto fill error and me not noticing as I filled out payment on my cellphone while i was tired, should've waited a day. Anyways, Illinois found the payment, but wouldn't yet refund it, but I could call back later and attempt to get a refund. I probably should've just insisted on a refund at that time, but fuck it

$8 is not worth it.

used a third party app, i turned boomer and screwed up and put in wrong plate number. The app wont help me

the state of illinois can't help me

so, most likely paid an extra $8.30 of tolls

i can in theory call later, sit on hold, and hope the kind manager refunds said $8.30 but I"ll just eat the 8 bucks as lesson learned

also illinois website to pay tolls isn't that great either. Still not sure WTF i signed up for when trying to pay online. With customer service "i signed up for pay by plate"

I actually never bought into that one, how about you? I just looked at the 5 year chart, daaaamn. I bought into Cronos and CGC 2+ years ago which I've been down on for a while, but I held on and they're bouncing back. And Aphria as we touched on the other day, which I only bought into this year

Started reading Tolstoy's War & Peace this morning. Wow, does it take concentration. Definitely my most ambitious read yet. Just keeping up with all the Russian nicknames for these characters is hard enough.

Anyone else read it? What translation did you have? I got a very nice 1949 hardcover for only $12. Definitely adds to the experience.

Yeah, I have APHA. I sold most of it when it hit $6 this morning. I think it should drop back down to at least $5, if not $4.50 again. I'll buy back in then. I've gained 25 shares doing that this year. Would be nice to keep accumulating some.

How come you think it'll drop? Think the spike is just a knee-jerk reaction to all the new legalization? I mostly avoid short-term trading, I just don't think I'm good enough at this stuff to try to time peaks and valleys. I tend to buy and just hold long-term
