That's bad stuff. This happened to a young teen a few years ago in FL right where we had been 30 minutes earlier. And the waves/rip/undertow weren't too unlike that. I still remember the force of the tide rushing back out around my knees and struggling to hold 3 kids with 2 hands and stay on my feet. It was initially fine but got worse until I realized how dangerous it had suddenly become and we got out.
The teen drowned saving his younger brother from the undertow.

A short drive from my house is a Twilight Zone KFC. The grounds are clean and cared for, the restaurant is clean inside and out, the staff are cordial, and the chicken sandwiches without mayo that they serve me are fresh, hot, and delicious. This is so out of character for a KFC, it's truly in the Twilight Zone.
