It's the weekend but tomorrow is fucking Monday morning. I like my job but honestly I'm looking forward to Thursday because that means it's almost time for the weekend.

I’m down for three day weekends every weekend.

Stop complaining you commie. Go to work. Do it for America

Well if you have enough time off or sick time you could do it

Best work schedule I ever had was 6 AM- 6 PM Monday-Thursday. You still got 8 hours of OT and had a 3 day weekend. There were times we’d have to work a Friday, but it was usually a half day.

Now it’s 7-5 M-F and I have to work Saturdays more often than I’d like

I work 4 ten hour shifts. Three day weekend probably 90% of the year.

More time to drink margaritas in the Texas heat.
I’d be down for 4 tens but I usually have around 8-10 hours of OT a week so I’d have to get much more efficient.

Ha Ha Lol GIF

OT is where the real money is. I like that I get paid time and a half as soon as I clock in every Friday. I’d rather the hours be 6-4, but 7-5 ain’t bad

Started a new job two months ago and probably average a 10 hour day M-Th, and still work Friday.

Slip out a little early on Friday? Nope, team meeting is every Friday 3-4.

And….I’m not hourly…..

I hated being salary. I was usually working 50-60 hours a week and getting paid for 40. It was nice when weather was too bad to work, but if I have the option, give me the hourly pay every time

Same. I feel like I'm on call when i'm salaried. I also like threatening to charge an hour of OT if they make me answer one email on a Saturday

I used to get comp days when I was 20 and worked for the road department, but they wouldn’t let you use them when you wanted to, they’d wait until it was gonna rain all day and make you take one. But we didn’t do much actual work. We’d always go to somebody’s house and shoot pool and watch day Braves games on the clock

We have the option to do four 9's and a half day Friday during the summer. Noped that.

Four 10's would be interesting... But it would wreck my entire week. 13 hours shot without even thinking about dinner, the gym, or cleaning around the apartment

It sucked. Owner of the company wanted something moved across the state on a Friday evening or come in on Saturday to do some bullshit, it wasn’t gonna be someone he had to pay OT

13 hours? Is that including your commute? Wouldn't you just have to do 11 hours with an hour for lunch?

I’ve never had a job with an 8 hour shift.

Yeah, commute, lunch, and getting ready for work. I added a little buffer, but it would be over 12 at the very minimum
